If you want to take a deeper look at your favorite photos, Photo Gear is for you.
Photo Gear is a photo metadata browser for EXIF, TIFF, GPS and much more. It can show the stored information on the image such as shutter speed, F number, what metering system was used, if a flash was used, ISO number, date and time the image was taken, white balance and much more.
If images store GPS information, you can easily see where the images were taken. Stored GPS information can be viewed either in the built-in map view or the Maps app.

Not all photos contain EXIF data, and some photos only contain limited EXIF data. If this is the case, there is no way for any application to show the full EXIF info.
And this is the most likely reason why Photo Gear does not show what youve expected.

This app showed me only two tidbits of metadata...resolution and color space. Thats it. No shutter speed, no lens info, no camera info... no nothing. Dont waste your money.

This little app is soooo helpful! I run a photo group on Facebook and often need to refer to the metadata on photos I post. This puts all of it at my fingertips without having to sort or upload anything. It is simple, efficient and thorough... Love it!
